What is VAT?

In the United Kingdom and abroad, VAT is charged on most goods and services, thus FHG is obliged to charge all their exhibitors VAT on their exhibition and related expenses, for services utilised in the United Kingdom and abroad.

International exhibitors are unable to reclaim the VAT charged by FHG through their home country's VAT process. A separate application MUST be made to the UK VAT authorities.

How can VAT Alliance save you money?

FHG has formed a partnership with VAT Alliance, who can reclaim the VAT charged on behalf of FHG's international clients. VAT Alliance will attend to all matters involved in the application to the UK VAT authority, and will refund you as soon as the refund is received from the UK VAT authority.

Thus minimal input is required on your part.

What costs can be claimed?

The following costs may be claimed while traveling overseas (may vary from country to country):
